50 tons... That's the quantity of steel and aluminium handled each year by the employees of our pulley production plant near Orléans.
Our heaviest pulleys weigh almost 40 kg! That's a lot and we are aware of it...
Knowing that half of all accidents at work are due to manual handling operations* and that we want to protect the health of our lathe and milling machine operators, we decided to act! How did we do it? By equipping our factory with two winches dedicated to handling loads of over 20kg.
For our employees, this represents a reduction in musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), little risk of falling parts or accidents, as well as easier handling and therefore easier quality inspection. For our customers it means faster production and even better quality parts!
